Saying Goodbye to Brazil </3
It felt like this day would never come… but you know what they say, ‘Time flies when you’re having fun!’ . My Brazilian Adventure has come to an end. And what an Adventure it has been! But no matter how many times we have to do it – Saying goodbye never gets any easier.
When someone you love disappears behind the doors of airport security, you will always wish you had kissed them one more time. Did you hug them hard enough? Do they really know how much you love them?
Once again I became flooded with emotions. The most intense mixture of happiness and sadness all at once! Happy to have shared this magical time with such a wonderful and adventurous person, yet filled with sadness to watch this chapter end. But that’s exactly what it is… Aruã and I call them chapters of our life together. Every great story has many chapters, but one beautiful chapter must end for an even better one to begin!
Brazil has been one of the most incredible chapters in my life so far. I have met the most amazing people here who have welcomed me into their homes and families with open arms. They have taught me things I never knew before, and opened my eyes to a whole new world!
Traveling with Aruã for almost 6 months has taught me so much about myself, our relationship and our Love. When you live with someone and you are with them literally 24/7, every day you learn how to handle any type of situation that comes your way. Our relationship grew stronger every day and I know our Love will just keep growing no matter how far apart we are.
So Brazil, Aruã, & my new Brazilian family – Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart. You have given me the most incredible adventure and memories I will never forget.
Goodbye for now, I know I will see you all again really soon!
Lots of Love,
Your blue-eyed girl! x x x
